Who we are

Combining resort style living, affordability and an unbeatable location Riverbend is an active adult village for those over 50 years of age.

Riverbend is a community in every sense. Enjoy as many or as few of the superb amenities (like our sparkling 20 metre heated pool, all-season bowling green and gymnasium) or neighbourhood events as you want to. Of course, visiting family and friends are always welcome!

Riverbend is for all active adults over the age of 50. You certainly don’t have to be retired (and that’s the only time we’ll mention the ‘r’ word!)  or even ‘winding down’.

Facilities

Riverbend village has all you could ever need at your doorstep.  A fully equipped community clubhouse with a gymnasium, library, craft room, dance floor, stage, fully equipped kitchen and recreational facilities. There is also a 20m heated swimming pool, bowling green, landscaped grounds, picnic and BBQ areas, caravan and boat storage compound, video security, walkways and seated areas, community gardens and secure electric gate entrance.

Management

Our sales office is open between 10 am and 3 pm on Monday to Saturday and is located at the entrance to the Riverbend Village.  Our sales staff would be pleased to show you the range of display homes available for sale or assist you with customising one of our standard designs.

Expenses

Riverbend Homeowners pay a weekly site fee (currently $121.60 per week for the 2008/2009 year), which is reviewed annually. Homeowners may be eligible for Federal Government Rent Assistance to help pay the site fee. The site fee is paid to Riverbend via direct debit from the Homeowners bank or credit union account.

There are no council rates or body corporate fees, no stamp duty or legal fees payable. The only additional costs will be $15.00 for a security pass. Each Homeowner is responsible for the upkeep of their home and the cost of utilities such as power, gas, water, phone and any public liability insurance.
